A man's attempts to poke his eye out are constantly interrupted by a ringing telephone. Unable to ignore it, the man resorts to bizarre tactics to silence the phone and fulfill his goal. Yet his efforts consistently devolve into slapstick mishaps as the ringing intensifies.
